Kermit Eisenhut - Artist's Work Helps Animals
|
Many already know about famed Houston artist Kermit Eisenhut. You may even have one of his canvases with one of your dogs or cats whimsically painted in acrylic. Kermit’s body of work includes commissions by Neiman-Marcus for custom works of enchanting animal fantasies. For 2007’s Houston Pet Set, he donated the cover art for its annual soiree invitation to be auctioned. Kermit painted fourteen fiberglass cows for the 2001 Cow Parade, and his “Lone Star” Mickey Mouse was auctioned at Sotheby’s in celebration of the 75th anniversary of the Disney figure. He painted fifteen five-foot boots commemorating the 75th anniversary of the Houston Livestock & Rodeo.
Kermit is donating 25% of the cost of every custom painting commissioned by Saving Animals’ supporters. Prices range from $500 to $5,000 for an original 24” x 24” to 5’ by 5’ painting of your animals in a scene or background that you choose. We are delighted to showcase several of Kermit’s custom pieces below. Exact pricing will be determined by the size and level of detail requested, as determined by the artist. Kermit can work from photographs of your animals and your direction on the scenery. You will be provided with a sketch of your custom work for your approval prior to painting. To have a painting created of your animals in a style that is only-Kermit, please call the artist directly at (713) 650-8451 to discuss size, detail, time for completion, and final price, and make your deposit today.
